For those of you using VUnit I’d like to highlight that the included OSVVM library has been made a submodule in our Git(Hub) distribution. Previously it was a modified copy to support GHDL and to provide a GitHub distribution of OSVVM. Now that OSVVM is on GitHub and supports GHDL natively there is no need for any modification so we can point to the official GitHub project directly using a Git submodule. The reason for still including OSVVM with VUnit is that it makes the location known to VUnit and this is necessary for the OSVVM integration we provide. This change makes no difference for those of you installing VUnit from PyPi but if you’re cloning from GitHub there are a few things to consider.
