Hi Jon,
The intention is that for visualizer you run VendorScripts_Visualizer.tcl instead of VendorScripts_Questa.tcl. That said, the reason the directions don’t spell this out is that the VendorScripts_Visualizer.tcl needs to be updated. When I tried running OSVVM regressions in the past with Visualizer it was crashing (likely due to running on windows) so I was not able test it, hence, its need for updates.
I expect that the two are identical except for vendor_simulate. So it is probably appropriate VendorScripts_Questa.tcl and replace VendorScripts_Visualizer.tcl and change what is done there.
If you have the current commands that you run to use visualizer, I should be able to help you with this.
If you are using the Questa variable to call OSVVM startup scripts, you can set the environment variable, OSVVM_TOOL, to the value Visualizer and then StartUp.tcl will run VendorScripts_Visualizer.tcl rather than VendorScripts_Questa.tcl.
Best Regards,
Jim
