Hi Jim,
Thanks for the detailed explanation and references to the OSVVM settings.
I’ve built a CI framework using GitHub Actions, running ModelSim on an Ubuntu runner. I’ll publish the template once the framework is complete. In my setup:
Initialize OSVVM and build the library via build.pro (example included in the template):
library osv…[Read more] -

By failed, do you mean test case failed or the build process errored out for some reason? OSVVM has are controls for both of these.
From the OSVVM Settings User Guide, you will find that they are controlled by variables:
variable FailOnBuildErrors "true" ;# simulator command had errors[Read more]

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to determine whether a build/simulation has failed in OSVVM, without having to manually inspect or parse the log files.
At the moment, my approach is to parse the generated logs to infer whether the build failed or not, but this feels a bit brittle. I was wondering if OSVVM already provides an integrated mechanism, API, o…[Read more]

Hi Veit,
Thanks for the issue reports. I have updated the names so they match. That said, since the test runner compiles and then runs the test case, the test case execution was still correct. I still hate it when the names do not match though. You can also file issue reports like this on the VC’s issue page, such as for this…[Read more]

Hi,
with my marriage (see “https://osvvm.org/forums/topic/using-vcs-without-the-built-in-scripts”) of OSVVM and VUNIT I found a confusion in the TbAXI4_[AXI?]ManagerRandomTiming Testcase:——————————————————-
TbAxi4_ManagerRandomTiming1 :

Hi all,
I’m a rooky regarding OSVVM.But now my marriage of OSVVM and VUNIT for the AXI testsuite seems to run (2 TCs fails currently, and I need a deeper invest). But i needed some changes.
Vunit runs all TCs in a single step, so I needed to install all TestCases parallel.
A one-hot from the vunit testbench (the runner process) selects the…[Read more]
